Margarida Malarkey began her darkroom practice ten years ago and has been passionate about photography ever since. After crafting a sense of composition and honing fundamental technical skills, she transitioned to shooting large format color film. Margarida uses the medium of photography as a vehicle for narrative. Her latest body of work explores expansive bodies of water that flow beyond the frame.  Her affinity for the ocean stems from its duplicitous states of both unnerving immensity and quiet meditation.
